Completely redesigned home page form Matmarket.

 

BRIEF

Matmarket has a unique niche in the footwear industry. They pioneered selling and representing materials and factories and over the years have evolved their business to include building and branding their own unique material technologies. Their website needed to help explain and highlight their business in a way that was understandable but not limiting or minimizing the services they provided.

 
 

CHALLENGE

Their business model is complex and customized based on many different factors, so explaining something simply, required drilling down deeper to better get at the heart of what they do and who they serve.

OUTCOME

  • I freshened up their white minimal aesthetic with current photos and 3-D images representative of the products they work with.

  • I spent time interviewing each of the partners to get a better understanding of where they saw the company going and what their unique offerings were.

  • I collaborated with their CFO to write their website copy making sure it more clearly stated who they are, who they serve and how their services could make a difference in the lives of their customers.

  • The site needed to direct people to their hero brands and talk more about their products than about Matmarket itself. So the home page strongly featured the partner brands and we included links to each brand website as well as photos and descriptions of the brands.
